Pre-Delivery Inspection
Before any container leaves our depot, it goes through a rigorous inspection process. We ensure that every unit, whether a standard cargo box or a highly modified workspace, meets our strict quality standards.
- Structural Integrity Check: We inspect the corner castings, floorboards, and corrugated steel walls.
- Door & Seal Verification: We ensure doors open smoothly and the heavy-duty rubber gaskets are completely wind-and-water-tight.
- Cosmetic Review: For our premium and one-trip containers, we verify the paint quality and surface condition.
Tilt-Bed Roll-Off Delivery
This is our most common and cost-effective delivery method. It requires no heavy machinery or lifting equipment from the buyer.
- How It Works: The delivery truck backs into your desired location, raises the front of the trailer bed, and gently slides the container off the back as the truck slowly pulls forward.
- Space Required: You will need enough straight-line clearance for the truck to pull forward. A 20ft container requires about 60 feet of straight space, while a 40ft container needs over 100 feet.
- Best For: Residential driveways, open lots, farms, and commercial yards with easy access.
Crane & Flatbed Delivery
For complex properties or long-distance multi-unit deliveries, specialized equipment is required to safely place your container.
- HIAB Crane Delivery: Perfect for tight spaces where a truck cannot drive straight out. The truck uses an onboard crane to lift and place the container sideways over walls or fences.
- Flatbed Transport: Used for long hauls or transporting multiple containers at once to save on freight costs.
- Customer Responsibility: If a standard flatbed is used, the buyer must arrange for a crane, heavy-duty forklift, or reach stacker to offload the unit upon arrival.
Preparing Your Ground
Proper site preparation is essential to prevent doors from binding and to ensure the longevity of your container.
- Level Surface: The ground must be as level as possible. Uneven ground causes the container to twist, making the heavy steel doors difficult to open.
- Foundation Options: You can place the container directly on dry, compact earth, crushed gravel, concrete pads, or railroad ties (sleepers) placed at the four corners.
- Clear the Path: Ensure the entire delivery route has at least 14 feet of overhead clearance, free from low-hanging branches or utility lines.
